This guesthouse is located in a graceful town house, situated on a broad leafy street where once the stream the Dokkumer Ee flowed. The house dates from around 1590. The house front with its beautiful hard stone pavement stairs dates from the end of the 18th century: in the back-front and numerous elements of the interior much of the original state of the residence has been retained.
